What do I need to do if I am planning to serve Hard Liquor at the event?

  • You can bring and serve Beer, Wine,and Champaign without any permit or fee to Meridian. For safety reasons, Beer should be in cans.
  • If you are planning to serve hard liquor (mixed alcoholic beverages), you are required to (i) pay a fee to Meridian and (ii) Obtain a permit from ABC Raleigh at the website.Permit Application Flowchart | NC ABCC
  • Need to submit a written letter from meridian to submit it in ABC Raleigh
  • You are required to apply for this permit at least 14 days in advance if applying by mail.
  • You are required to have licensed bartenders to serve liquor.

  • Meridian strongly recommends not to serve hard liquor at any party attended by minors. Eg: Quince
